Contact infection

Contact infection is when a person comes into direct contact with a pathogen or is transmitted indirectly through a medium contaminated with the pathogen.


Droplet infection

Droplet infection is caused by "sprays" that attach directly to the conjunctiva, nasal, or airway mucous membranes of nearby people and contain pathogens caused by coughing, sneezing, and conversation.

The size of the droplet is as large as 5 microns and the diffusion range is within 1 m, but it can fly about 2 m or more when coughing or sneezing.


Aerial infection

Airborne infection is caused by the evaporation of water from droplets containing pathogens into particles less than 5 microns called "droplet nuclei", which spread widely along the flow of air. Airborne infection is caused by inhaling droplet nuclei.

Precautions

This product is an alcohol preparation. Spraying in an enclosed space is dangerous because the alcohol concentration will be high. Be sure to ventilate after spraying. Also make sure that there is no fire in the vicinity before use.

How to use

[For furniture and goods]
Spray the solution diluted about 4 times this product directly.
[For disinfection of space]
Dilute the undiluted solution of this product about 7 times, and set it in the ultrasonic sprayer for use.

When disinfecting facilities (ex. Accommodation facilities, nursing care facilities, hospitals, schools, cars, etc.) used by an unspecified number of people, dilute this product 4 times with tap water and spray it directly onto the target using a pressurized sprayer.

・This data is measured in March,2017 without Ionair AQS and in April 2017 with Ionair AQS.
